Transmitting an Individual Acknowledgement

When receiving an Individual call, you can transmit an ac-

knowledgement (‘Able to comply’ or ‘Unable to comply’) by

using the on screen prompts (see page 33 for details). You

can also send an acknowledgement through the menu sys-

tem as follows.

q Enter “

” in DSC menu.

IInnddiivviidduuaall AACCKK

” item appears after an Individual call is

received.

w Rotate [SELECTOR] to select the desired individual ad-

dress or ID code, push [ENT].

e Rotate [SELECTOR] to select “

AAbbllee ttoo CCoommppllyy

” or

“

UUnnaabbllee ttoo CCoommppllyy

,” push [ENT].

• When “

UUnnaabbllee ttoo CCoommppllyy

,” is selected, ‘No reason given’

will be transmitted.

r Push [ENT] to transmit the acknowledgement call to the

selected station.

t After the Individual acknowledgement call has been trans-

mitted, the speciﬁed channel (speciﬁed by the calling sta-

tion) is selected automatically when “

” is selected, or returns to the previous condition

(before entering the DSC menu) when “

” is selected in step e.
